Our executive will meet and assist you from your desired location (hotel, railway station, or airport). Then you will be assisted with the transfer at the hotel for your check-in. Afternoon we will proceed to the sightseeing tour at New and Old Delhi. We will start by visiting Jama Masjid, the principal and biggest mosque in India. Next, we will head toward Chandni Chowk, which faces the majestic Red Fort. Originally it had a central canal that runs down its full length. It was named ‘Avenue of Moon’ or Chandni Chowk when the moonlight reflected off the water. Typical of real India, it is a chaotically bustling area containing a mix of temples, food outlets, shops, and stalls.
Between Chandni Chowk and the mosque is a shop-lined narrow street along which Rickshaws will transport you on the tour’s most photogenic journey. Next comes the two 17th-century landmarks, the Red Fort or Lal Qila, which will be driven passed along with India Gate, the memorial to the unknown soldiers, the Government Building Central Secretariat, the embassy area, Parliament House, the President House, and India gate, the war memorial of WWII. Overnight stay in Delhi.
After breakfast in the morning, travel to Agra, the home to the most famous landmark of India, the Taj Mahal. The Taj, a poem of white marble, is described as the most extravagant monument that has ever been built for love.
Check into your hotel upon arrival.Later, visit Agra Fort which was built by Emperor Akbar, a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture, and also Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb, known as baby taj, another great example of Mughal Architecture. Overnight stay at Agra.
Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, undisputedly one of the world’s most stunning structures. As the mist rises in the soft morning light from the river Yamuna above the surrounding landscape, it seems to float like a mirage. Built from dazzling marble, the Mahal’s color changes from white to yellow, then to cream, and almost orange, quite an exquisite image that you will forever remember.
Now return to the hotel for breakfast and check out to travel to Jaipur, India’s foremost planned city, which is a treasure-trove of history, art, and culture, famous for its Rajasthani cuisine, lifestyle, and color. En-route visit Chand Bori, one of the biggest Stepwells in India; Harshat Mata, dating back to the 10th century and is dedicated to the Goddess of Happiness, who spreads joy and happiness to the entire village; and Abhaneri Stepwell, Rajasthan’s ancient village famous for its early medieval or post-Gupta monuments.
Upon your arrival at the hotel in Jaipur, you may explore the local market of Jaipur, which reflects its colorful tradition and culture.
After your breakfast in the morning, proceed to the guided city tour beginning at Amber Fort. You can add a magical touch to your visit withan elephant/shared jeep that rides from the hill’s foot up to the fortress’s gates and enjoy a royal feel. Within the complex stands Ganesh Pol takes pride in the place, the imposing gateway painted with the images of Ganesh, the elephant-headed God.
Also, a part of the complex is the Hall of the Public audience named Diwan-I-Aam, with its great display of pillars. In Jas Mandir and Sulk Nivas apartments, the typical merging of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles is captured. The Charbagh garden has perfectly proportioned landscaping. Once the abode of aristocracy, the old city, beyond the rampant, had a beautiful medieval flavor.
In the afternoon, after lunch, visit the City Palace of the Maharajas, the home of the former royal family. Next, at Hawa Mahal, take a photo stop and drive past the city’s old part. You will then visit Jantar Mantar, another famed observatory, a complex of astronomical instruments carved out of stone providing fairly exact information about the day.
